What's new


Summer Time!!

The heat is on and we are busy keeping cool with trips out to the area parks 
and beaches as well as planning many special activities like our Water Fun 
Day with squirt guns and water balloons! The children in our Golden Goose 
Academy Child Care Center will be joining us for crafts and exercises of 
course some yummy sacks to help keep cool! We also had two very special 
groups of guests. 

The first was the children from the Elmwood Elementary 
school in Hopkinton who came once again to interview our residents and write 
bios of them. They then came back with a slide show and everyone got to see
 themselves ‘on the big screen.’ We also had the Drama Club from the 
Hopkinton Middle School perform the Wizard of Oz – what a talented group! 
The residents enjoyed both of these exceptional activities 
very much!

We will also be celebrating many fun holidays including National Chocolate 
Pudding Day and National Watermelon Day – a perfect treat on a hot summer 
day!  We are also beginning to plan two special end of summer events that 
we all enjoy so much the Family BBQ for Residents and their families as 
well as the Family Picnic for the children of Golden Goose Academy and 
their families.  

We are also celebrating two very special birthdays Golden Pond and Golden 
Goose academy both have been open for sixteen years this summer!  We are 
very proud of our longevity and our successes in both areas.
