Geropsych
The Geropsych Health Center is an alternative living arrangement
for seniors with psychiatric disorders. The multidisciplinary
team offers an extensive array of services to this high-risk,
high-need population in a specialized setting.
 This
23-bed program is designed to provide both short and long
term psychiatric care and includes comprehensive diagnostic
as well as on-going treatment services.
The program is based on a secured, structured, multi-modal
treatment approach that reflects the needs of this specific
resident population.
The program is designed to offer a therapeutic environment
including:
Behavior Management
Multi-disciplinary Assessment and Diagnostic Evaluation
Psychopharmacological Management
24-hour Crisis Intervention, Assessment, and Stabilization
Groups
Case Consultations
After Care Planning
Golden Pond has created the most comprehensive on-site psychiatric
service for the geriatric population by assembling an experienced
team of primary health and psychiatric professionals, and
by implementing a psychosocial model with an emphasis on treating
the "whole" resident.
A multidisciplinary team will provide the most comprehensive
diagnostic, behavioral, and crisis management services for
the Geropsychiatric population.
