Golden Pond Activities Program
Each weekday, Golden Pond offers a multitude of activities, educational programs and wellness clinics with both cognitive and physical exercise being an integral part of our day-to-day goals.
We believe strongly in encouraging our residents to continue enjoying their ‘golden years’ with fun filled days that are both enjoyable and stimulating. As studies have shown, continued daily exercise helps maintain independence and improves overall quality of life.
Studies have also shown that regular cognitive exercises can greatly reduce the risk of developing dementia and stave off depression.
We offer many interactive and varied activities including special visits from various local groups including the Mass Audubon Society, Capron Zoo, and many different Girl Scout Troops.
We have three full time Activities Staff members to assist all of our Residents in the enjoyment and participation of the various programs we offer.
In addition to our programming we have partnered with SunDance Rehabilitation who are located in our building and can offer Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy to any resident who may need it.
